The Visual Arts Program offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees (BFA) in visual arts as well as Bachelor of Arts degrees (BA) in visual arts and art education. Students may also earn an academic or a skill-based minor in these fields. Students are required to meet with faculty and academic advisors to plan an academic schedule.
All students hoping to major in visual arts are required to submit a portfolio of their foundation year work for review and acceptance into the program. To submit your work please scan, photograph, and post your artwork to your Behance portfolio. Please make sure that you submit before the appropriate deadline to be considered.
Those who have completed the equivalents to ART 119, 156, and 210 should apply as soon as possible to avoid unnecessarily repeating courses. Consult academic advisor and/or faculty to discuss credit transfer options.
